Dobel Reserve

As I measure my daily walks on google maps I havent been up at Dobel Reserve in years as the maps dont tell me the distance.  I however decided to guess my distance the other day and go up anyway.   At the foot of the hill there was a Maori totem pole.

the hill in the background is Hospital Hill

Taradale and surrounding surburbs

The buildings outlined in red are the university campus - my older son studies here

  3. I'm interested in the second photo the most. Its pattern and color are attractive. Somehow, it evokes a feeling of deja vu, though I live in Japan and I have never traveled abroad.
